Lott is an economist, meaning he studies the reasons behind certain decisions people make & uses that data to predict future outcomes.
He’s written several books: “More guns, Less crime”, “Freedomonics”,” Gun Control Myths”, and “The Bias against Guns”.
Lott is, in my brief research, THE main literary resource for 2nd A advocates.

A 1st glance is where I take a book, read the synopsis, and then read the 1st and last paragraph of each chapter.

The Main Point
The main point of this book is to have
answers to common gun control questions/accusations.
Lott covers everything from Background Checks to Australia’s gun buy back Program. He puts a lot of emphasis on how gun control advocates use misleading or false info to induce an emotional response, and how they don’t gather the whole picture before stating their” facts”.
He uses a lot of graphs, and I’ll be doing due diligence on the 2nd glance to verify his Sources.
Charts and graphs are nice, but only if properly sourced.
1st Glance Conclusion:
I like his factual approach overall, Though there are times he uses extreme examples or hypothetical Q’s that don’t really address the issue of how to address gun violence. He seems more interested in the ” debunking” of the gun control myths than to give an alternative solution.
